White
sandy beaches, palm trees and picturesque over-water bungalows greet the
visitor to this unique resort located in French Polynesia. Enjoy great
beaches, food and tranquility on this remote island.
Bora Bora Lagoon Resort is a great place
to get away from the fast pace of modern life and unwind in the most
luxurious setting. Lounge by the pool or on the beach with a cool drink
or treat yourself to a relaxing massage.
The resort offers 78 bungalows and two suites. Try one of the over-water
bungalows which feature steps from the sun deck that lead directly into
the lagoon. At night, enjoy a gourmet meal and magnificent views over
the water at the Otemanu restaurant.

The next day, work off the calories at the fitness center or explore the
island of Bora Bora by bike. Snorkeling is fabulous in the blue waters
of the lagoon. Complimentary activities
include wind surfing and boating. A number of other activities can also
be arranged, including scuba diving, catamaran cruises, para sailing,
and glass bottom boat trips.
The French Polynesian islands enjoy a tropical climate with average
temperatures around 76 degrees Fahrenheit in July and 81.3 degrees in
March. From Los Angeles, the flight to Tahiti takes 7.5 hours, offered
by Air France or Air New Zealand. Fly to International airport in
Papeete, Tahiti, and transfer to a domestic airline (Air Tahiti or Wan
Air) for a 40-minute flight to Bora Bora. A private launch transports
guests from the airport to Bora Bora Lagoon Resort.
