CLIMATE	One of Jamaica’s greatest attractions is its tropical maritime climate. The temperature along the coast averages a near-constant 80 degrees to 86 degrees Fahrenheit year-round. Thus, seasons are virtually nonexistent. Temperatures fall steadily with increasing altitude, but even the Blue Mountains average 65 degrees or more. Monthly temperatures range in the 60s also, with February and March usually the coolest months. The rainy season begins in May or June and lasts through November or December, with the heaviest rains in September and October. However, rain can fall at any time of year – normally in short, heavy showers, often followed by sun.

STRUCTURE & DECOR	Featured throughout the Ritz-Carlton Rose Hall, Jamaica, are arched doorways, vaulted ceilings, towering columns and open-air spaces. All guest rooms and suites feature completely private covered balconies with stone columns and pastel-colored pink, yellow or mint-green walls. Tropical floral prints, mahogany wood bedposts and rattan furniture complement the casually elegant dicor.
LANDSCAPE DESIGN	Colorful gardens are part of the resort’s expansive pavilion, which features a main building and four separate guest wings. The lush natural landscaping includes tropical plants, sea grape trees and views of the Caribbean Sea. Ivory stucco buildings with peach-colored roofs frame the resort’s spacious grounds.
MISCELLANEOUS	The White Witch 18-hole golf course located five minutes from the resort and designed by Robert von Hagge. This course is one of the premier courses in the Caribbean, if not the world. From the clubhouse, situated atop the mountains, the course winds up, down and around the mountainous countryside. Spectacular views of the sea are visible from 16 of the course’s 18 holes. This golfing experience will be challenging and unique.
