Mexico Fun Things
 |
Fun things you just gotta do!
With water this clear and sun this bright, it’s no
wonder the shoreline gets top billing in the
Cancun-Cozumel area. Tour the Sian Ka'an Biosphere
Reserve, snorkel or visit the fantastic caves of the
Maya World. This is just a few of the things you've
gotta do in Cancun! |

Ixtapa has several excellent golf courses,
including the 18 hole Robert Trent Jones golf course
at the Palma Real Golf and Tennis Club, and the new
Marina Ixtapa Golf Course. Great for golf
enthusiasts.
Fishing is a must do here among
many other activities. Ixtapa is just being
discovered as Mexico's exciting sportfishing
destination. Anglers thrill at the profusion of
sailfish, black and blue marlin (the record is over
1,000 pounds), as well as yellowfin tuna and dorado
(mahi-mahi). |

Snorkeling
The fabulous waters of Los Cabos beckon you to
explore, and what better way than with a mask and
flippers? Snorkel tours can be arranged right on
Playa el Medano or from several tour desks. A
natural marine sanctuary and home to schools of
triggerfish, angelfish, goatfis, parrot fish,etc.
Horseback Riding
Horseback riding for all levels of ability is
available at several stables in the Los Cabos area.
Guided tours on rented horses are at Rancho Collins
at the Melia San Lucas Hotel entrance.

Sightseeing
If your time is limited, or if you enjoy group
tours, many can be booked at your hotel from
Mazatlan tour companies. Three we recommend are Oli
Tours, Marlin Tours and Vista Tours, but there are
many other good ones as well.
Dining Out
There are too many excellent restaurants for us to
mention all of them here. Everywhere you go you'll
see interesting and delightful little places. Don't
be afraid to try them. |
